Day 1 (4 hours with flexibility to extend to 5 hours)

  1. Advanced DNA Science & Preservation
    • Understanding DNA structure and its degradation over time
    • Differences between organic and inorganic inclusions in jewelry
    • Long-term preservation strategies for hair, ashes, breastmilk, placenta, umbilical cord, pet fur, etc.
    • Handling challenging inclusions (dark ashes, coarse hair, low-volume samples).
    • Colour correction and prevention of oxidation/yellowing.
  2. Advanced Material Science
    • Specialty liquid preservatives for archival quality
    • UV stability & anti-yellowing technology
    • Pigments, micas, and opalescent powders for professional finishes
    • Combining liquid preservative with alternative materials (glass, wood, gemstone inlays).
    • Pros & cons of different high-grade liquid preservatives for longevity and clarity.

Day 2 (4 hours with flexibility to extend to 5 hours)

  1. Design Theory for High-End Keepsakes
    • Curing control in extreme climates (humid/hot conditions).
    • Layer bonding for large or multi-inclusion pieces.
    • Designing for emotional storytelling
    • Customizing jewelry to client’s sentiment (color psychology, symbolic inclusions)
    • Balancing durability, comfort, and style
    • Complex multi-layer and 3D visual effects.
    • Coordinating colours, textures, and inclusions for storytelling. 
  2. Client Consultation & Project Planning
    • Positioning as a luxury keepsake artist.
    • Pricing for high-value commissions.
    • Contracts & legal considerations for high-end clients.
    • Bespoke commissions & client conceptualization process.
    • Professional client briefing techniques
    • Setting expectations and timelines for custom work
    • Ethical handling of memorial materials
